2. BLOGGING
• I enjoy blogging, and I have roughly six years of experience
creating blogs.
• For this latest blog, called “Pillars of the Past,” I have narrowed
upon a historical focus for the content I publish there.
• This played a key role in how I organized the images and
compositional style of the blog.
• For instance, I have chosen to create a collage of famous
historical images for the background.
• For these images, I chose all black and white photographs to
avoid clashing colors.
• The color of the text is somewhat subdued and professional, with
my “About Me” photo showing a similar desire for formality.

formal if you need to be professional, but make it as fun and

6. PHOTOSHOP
• So far I have enjoyed using Photoshop more than
anything else in class so far. Its very fun to play
with, and has many options and settings to
discover and explore.
• I’ve found that Photoshop has been a very useful
tool for adding images to my blog. It allows me to
enhance my photos and pictures to a point where
they are far more presentable on a public level.

ADVICE AND TOOL UTILIZAITON:
• Contrast and Saturation : By using the quick selection
tool, you can specify specific objects to change the
saturation (vibrancy of color), and the contrast (amount
of black as opposed to gray in the image). These options
can help make certain areas of your image stand out
much more, and alters where a viewer’s eye will focus
on.
