Baugain 3k Holding is the exploring associated company of the pioneer mineral producer of Sri Lanka, initiated in
1958.
This Company had been established solely to cater marketing all minerals in demand to reputed companies around
the globe. The prime firm initiated mining of mineral based produces including of its customer required processing

a double carbonate of calcium and magnesium and it exhibits a granular structure. It has high natural

between the types of quartz is that one is of macrocrystalline, which is individual crystal visible to the unaided eye, and the
other is microcrystalline or cryptocrystalline varieties, aggregates of crystals visible only under high magnification. Chalcedony
is the generic term for cryptocrystalline quartz. The transparent variety tends to be microcrystalline and the cryptocrystalline
varieties are either translucent or mostly opaque.It has a hexagonal crystal structure and is made of trifocal crystallized silica.
It is most varied in terms of varieties, colors and forms. Also specialized for ultra high products in the electronic and fibre
optic industries, and fused Silicate quartz for condensers.

Silica sand is used throughout the world, and in so many different ways it is hard to imagine a world without it. From water
filtration, to glass manufacture, to industrial casting, to sand blasting, to producing concrete, to adding texture to slick roads,
silica sand impacts every aspect of daily life. Many industrial suppliers carry silica sand in bulk quantities, while some smaller
household stores sell it in smaller amounts for home or home construction use. One of the major uses of silica sand in the
modern world is as an ingredient in industrial concrete. Silica sand produces the bulk of a great deal of concrete, although some

used in various industries:like the industry of ceramics, glass, and ultra heating processes.
Feldspar is the most common rock-forming mineral (about 60% of the earth’s crust). The mineral name feldspar is derived
from the German words feld + spar. Feldspar minerals are usually white or very light in color, have a hardness of 6 on the
Mohs’ Scale of Hardness and perfect to good cleavage (plane of breakage) in two directions. Feldspar is a common name that
applies to a group of minerals with a general chemical formula of x Al(Al,Si)3O8, where x can be sodium (Na) and/or calcium
(Ca) and/or potassium (K). (Specific compositional varieties (i.e. albite, microcline…) are discussed under Mineral
Descriptions). Feldspar weathers to kaolin which is the main clay mineral used in ceramics and fine pottery.
