In elementary school, the author wanted to be a math teacher because she was good at math and liked helping students, but mainly because her teacher would send her to buy cookies which teachers were allowed to do. In intermediate school, students could also buy cookies, so she no longer wanted to be a teacher. She became interested in police shows and wanted to do something related to law enforcement, so she is now majoring in criminology. After graduating, she wants to become an FBI behavioral analyst to seek justice for victims. Both teaching and criminology allow one to make a positive difference in people's lives and the most important thing is being passionate about the career.
