This document provides five tips for giving presentations: 1) Accept silence as part of speaking by pausing for 5 seconds, 2) Use descriptive language to explain diagrams, 3) Vary your tone of voice when speaking, 4) Discuss everyday objects with passion, and 5) Summarize the main points of the presentation in 3-5 sentences. Each tip is accompanied by a practice exercise to improve presentation skills. The overall goal is to inspire new and different approaches to giving presentations.
