The students from ITE F. Severi, S. Giovanni V.no exchanged Christmas presents in 2014 with their friends from partner schools as part of the Comenius Five Senses 2013-2015 program. They wrote Christmas cards, made packets of presents, and mailed their parcels to their friends, who then sent parcels back in return. When the parcels arrived, the students excitedly opened them to find the presents from their friends, wishing each other a Merry Christmas and happy New Year.

On Christmas, the students celebrate with their families in various ways. Many visit grandparents and other relatives, eat special foods like panettone, lasagna, and tortellini, go to Christmas mass, open presents, and spend the day together before returning home in the evening.

The school is located in the center of the town of San Giovanni Valdarno in the Arno Valley between Florence, Siena and Arezzo. Italian secondary school is for students between 14-19 years old and prepares them for work or further education in business, accounting and economics. The town was designed in 1296 as a military outpost and the historic center has a large central square with roads perpendicular to each other

October's work italian group the weather station

This presentation summarizes questionnaires collected from students, parents, and teachers regarding science literacy, teaching methods, technology usage, and learning difficulties. Questionnaires were collected from 130 students, 23 parents, and 16 teachers from ISISValdarno–SanGiovanniValdarno. The majority of respondents demonstrated awareness of scientific theories changing but had difficulty explaining scientific concepts. While most recognized the importance of technology, its effectiveness in the classroom was unclear. Common learning difficulties included foreign languages and math.

- 2. A Jigsaw puzzle on the symbol of San Giovanni Valdarno We prepared this puzzle at school for the meeting in Italy of March 2015. Our friends from the partner schools who took part had to recompose the parts of the puzzle in order to recreate the symbol of our town.
- 3. Logo of my townLogo of my town
- 4. St. John the Baptist The town is dedicated to S. John the Baptist and this important protagonist of our religion is reproduced in the logo of the town with his characteristic cross.
- 5. The town's logo has very ancient origins. It was probably made when the town was founded in 1296 and features the saint, who is also protector of Florence with which S. Giovanni Valdarno has always had very strong bonds. The Saint is shown as standing and blessing in a natural position, on a green field. The picture is presented on a light blue shield.
- 6. The preparation We were given the image in a file by the town council office itself and we resized and printed it with a jigsaw pattern on it
- 8. All the groups of students from the partner schools were given a puzzle to recompose on the last day of the meeting before the goodbye dinner. They had fun working on them.
