Narayana Murthy, born on August 20, 1946, is the co-founder of Infosys, which he established in 1981 with an initial capital of Rs. 10,000 from his wife. He served as CEO until 2002 and later as chairman until 2011, receiving numerous awards for his contributions, including the Padma Shri and Padma Vibhushan. Infosys became the first Indian company to be listed on NASDAQ and has developed multiple software centers across India.
