The Istituto Comprensivo Lorenzi Fumane - Polo Europeo della Conoscenza (Europole-Adult Education) is a network of 50 adult educational institutions, 14 universities for seniors, and 20 NGOs working with 20,000 senior citizens in Italy. It promotes European integration through workshops, seminars, conferences and projects. It has 15 years of experience organizing programs and courses for seniors on topics like computers, culture, and working with local adult education centers. It also works on issues like social exclusion, discrimination, and helping break stereotypes between cultures and religions.

to promote the European dimension and
integration through European and extra -

conferences, partnerships and projects.
The Europole-Adult Education is planning
"umbrella activities" involving in the
projects the greatest possible number of
institutions of the consortium.

in every field of education,
from ITC to in-service training courses
for senior teachers and educators
to adult education
in prison and in rural areas.

also on social exclusion,
fighting against xenophobia and racism,
helping
to break stereotypes around gender
among different cultures and religions,
intercultural learning and in the active life
field.

are working with learners at risk of social
and cultural exclusion:
adult immigrants, refugees, social
psychological borderline situations, adult
learners with disabilities and other special
needs.

and learning bodies for the active
citizenship to avoid senior social
exclusion, with special courses, with
silver net service's (doctors, housework,
call centers ect.).

Universities each year meetings and
