Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) formed the Inter-Universities Consortium on Climate Change, Sustainability & Conservation (CCSC) which includes over 50 universities and organizations from across Pakistan. The CCSC aims to collaborate on initiatives that support several UN Sustainable Development Goals related to climate change, clean energy, sustainable cities, and conservation. Formal agreements were established between members to facilitate joint programs in areas like student exchanges, collaborative research, seminars, and outreach activities.

Consortium on Climate Change, Sustainability & Conservation (CCSC) • CCSC contribute in multiple United Nation Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for example SDG-7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), SDG-11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), SDG-13 (climate action), SDG-15 (life on land), SDG-17 (partnerships for the goals) • More than 50 Universities/Research Organizations/Private Sector/Industries from all regions of Pakistan (Azad & Jammu Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, ICT, KPK, Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan) are part of this consortium
- 3. • Letter of agreement (LoA), to have formal collaboration/binding in consortium/CCSC to start joint ventures in the following areas – Cooperative activities may include student and faculty exchanges, study abroad – Collaborative research programs, seminars and workshops – Outreach programs, including collaborative research Consortium on Climate Change, Sustainability & Conservation (CCSC)
