➢ Single phase power is a two-wire alternating
current (ac) power circuit.
Typically, consist two types of wire
1. Power wire
2. Neutral wire

5. ❑ What is three phase power System?
➢The three-phase system has three live wire and one
returns the path.
The three-phase system is used for transmitting a
large amount of power.
The magnitude of voltage remains same in all the three
phases and it is separated by an angle of 120 degree.

simply the sum of their respective phase powers.
