This document describes how 3D virtual sampling can help apparel product development. It saves up to 70% of sampling costs, cuts product time to shelf in half, improves fits, regains development confidentiality, and reduces waste. The process uses a virtual mannequin, sloper pattern, virtual samples, style patterns, and one physical sample to finalize the process. Changes can be made very fast in the virtual environment without remaking patterns and samples.
