The author had frequent nightmares about monsters that would wake them up feeling horrified. After watching a movie with their children, the author got inspired to change their perspective of monsters. They began to see monsters not as scary creatures, but as funny, fluffy pets that make silly movements out of anger in a way that makes the author laugh and relax, solving the problem of being afraid of monsters in their dreams.

1. Monsters in Nightmares
Monsters frighten young children, that is what I
thought before I had nightmares with lots of
monsters.
I spent many nights waking up horrified before the day
I was sitting with my children watching a movie
which I got inspired by.
After that day I changed the way I see monsters; instead
of the images of bad looking creatures, now I see
funny, fluffy angry pets which make funny moves
because of their anger, the thing that makes me laugh
and relax and solves the problem.
