L’alumnat amb NEE, inclòs en l’escola ordinària, acostuma a presentar uns trets característics derivats no només de les seves capacitats, sinó també del fet d’estar inclosos en un grup ordinari:
- Percepció de les seves dificultats com un obstacle
- Infravaloració de la seva capacitat
- Baix nivell d’autoestima
- Convenciment de que les seves produccions no tenen valor
- Poques expectatives d’èxit
Aquests són aspectes que ens cal treballar intensament per aconseguir una acceptació de les pròpies possibilitats i limitacions; però no de manera resignada i negativa, sinó com a punt de partida per a aconseguir una actitud positiva de confiança en si mateixos i de desenvolupament de les seves competències bàsiques. Dit d’una altra manera, es tracta d’ajudar-los a ser conscients de la importància de desenvolupar al màxim les seves capacitats, aplicant-les a situacions diverses i demostrant a tothom que el seu treball dóna resultats interessants.
En aquesta línia, des de l’AEE (Aula d’Educació Especial) i l’AALL (Aula d’Audició i Llenguatge) ens hem plantejat utilitzar les eines i les característiques de la web 2.0 per:
* Crear un BLOC on anar penjant els projectes elaborats per l’alumnat amb NEE. Amb una doble finalitat:
o Motivar-los per a esforçar-se per aconseguir el millor resultat possible.
o Fer “visibles”, les seves produccions, desenvolupant al mateix temps la seva competència digital, però també la comprensió dels aspectes ètics de la web 2.0 (compartir, respecte per l’autoria d’allò que ens baixem, perills d’Internet...)
* Utilitzar eines web 2.0 que ens permetin emmagatzemar on-line els nostres arxius, per tal d’alliberar memòria del servidor (força limitat) de l’escola i visualitzar-los a través del bloc. Les eines web 2.0 que utilitzem les hem seleccionades a partir dels criteris següents:
o La gratuïtat del servei.
o L’aparició del mínim de publicitat possible.
o Interfície clara i simple en la visualització dels arxius.
o Que ens permetin allotjar-hi arxius en els formats amb què treballem habitualment amb l’alumnat (documents de text -Word, Open Office-, imatges -gif, jpg, png-, presentacions -power point, Open Office Impress-, aplicacions Flash -swf-
