• According to the DSM IV (Statistical
Manual of Mental Disorders):
– The schizophrenia is a alteration that
persists for at least 6 months and
includes at least 1 month of symptoms
of the active phase.

• The mysticism was a predominant factor that
influenced the history in the schizophrenic
patients, causing violations of the rights of the
same.
