The document discusses Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL). CALL uses computers to assist and enhance language learning. The advantages of CALL include encouraging non-linear reading, allowing students to make their own decisions to develop critical reading skills, and facilitating collaboration. However, disadvantages include CALL programs not always being accessible to students without home computers and reading long texts on screens being slower and more difficult than reading print texts.

Connector Corner: Automate dynamic content and events by pushing a buttonDianaGray10
Here is something new! In our next Connector Corner webinar, we will demonstrate how you can use a single workflow to:
Create a campaign using Mailchimp with merge tags/fields
Send an interactive Slack channel message (using buttons)
Have the message received by managers and peers along with a test email for review
But there’s more:
In a second workflow supporting the same use case, you’ll see:
Your campaign sent to target colleagues for approval
If the “Approve” button is clicked, a Jira/Zendesk ticket is created for the marketing design team
But—if the “Reject” button is pushed, colleagues will be alerted via Slack message
Join us to learn more about this new, human-in-the-loop capability, brought to you by Integration Service connectors.

Securing your Kubernetes cluster_ a step-by-step guide to success !KatiaHIMEUR1
Today, after several years of existence, an extremely active community and an ultra-dynamic ecosystem, Kubernetes has established itself as the de facto standard in container orchestration. Thanks to a wide range of managed services, it has never been so easy to set up a ready-to-use Kubernetes cluster.
However, this ease of use means that the subject of security in Kubernetes is often left for later, or even neglected. This exposes companies to significant risks.
In this talk, I'll show you step-by-step how to secure your Kubernetes cluster for greater peace of mind and reliability.

2. What is Web 1.0 and Web 2.0?
The term web 1.0 refers to the first version of the web, sometimes
also known as the informational web. It consisted largely of
static webpages with little room for real interactivity. Thus, it
functioned much like a large reference book, or indeed a whole
library of reference books.
Is a revolutionary view of the Internet and the social and
business uses of advanced technologies rather than the
technical aspects of those technologies.
3. Web 1.0 had webmaster created sites, Web 2.0 has user driven sites.
Web 1.0 used dial up, Web 2.0 uses broadband.
Web 1.0 was about business, Web 2.0 is about community.
Web 1.0 had AOL, Web 2.0 has Google and (now) Bing.
4. What is World Wide Web and
Internet?
World Wide Web
Is a system of Internet servers that support specially formatted
documents. The documents are formatted in a markup language
called HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) that supports links to
other documents, as well as graphics, audio, and video files.
Internet
Is a worldwide network of computers. It is an interconnection of
large and small networks around the globe. The internet is one of
most powerful communications tool, it is characterized because
allows proper level of communication across networks and it does
not restrict the access of information to a particular location.
5. What is call
Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) is an
intercontinental and interdisciplinary journal which
leads the field in its dedication to all matters associated
with the use of computers in language learning (L1 and
L2), teaching and testing. It provides a forum to discuss
the discoveries in the field and to exchange experience
and information about existing techniques. The scope of
the journal is intentionally wide-ranging and embraces a
multitude of disciplines.
