The document discusses how internet culture challenges traditional identity structures in human society. It argues that the internet allows for an unprecedented multiplication of available identity resources and spaces for new identities to form. This empowers great identitarian diversity but also causes incongruities with established identity bottlenecks imposed by nation-states and other traditional social groups. The dissolution of coherent individual identity and emergence of new identitarian patterns like "borganisms" are discussed as potential consequences of these changes to how human identities are formed and expressed.

Supercomputer Earth: The Future of Civilization (& Africa\'s part in it)Christian Heller
The document discusses the evolution of technology and intelligence over the past 500,000 years, from early language to modern computing networks and the world wide web. It describes how Web 2.0 has enabled greater participation and new ways of sharing information. The growth of global supercomputing power through more connected human intelligence and improvements in artificial systems is also covered. During a course on systems administration, students developed three projects: a secure email platform, network monitoring and management, and web application management. The projects involved installing and configuring open source software for email, monitoring, and web applications on Linux and Windows. The email project was the most complex and required the most configuration. Network monitoring is also important for administrators to ensure services are functioning properly. Web applications provide useful tools for organizations. The students gained experience working as a team to complete the projects under the guidance of teachers at SENA.
