Today we are learning about prepositional phrases. A prepositional phrase contains a preposition and the object of the preposition, usually a noun or pronoun that comes after the preposition. Examples of prepositional phrases given are "on the chair", with the preposition "on" and object "chair", "over the fence" with preposition "over" and object "fence", and "on the table" and "in the cage".
