The document outlines the plan for Day 2 of a workshop, which is to develop a comprehensive work plan. Participants will propose and prioritize 3 activities each for capacity building, knowledge harvesting, and policy dialogue. They will then answer 8 questions to further develop each activity and identify how they will link to existing networks. Participants will form groups to work through this process, then present and refine their preliminary findings. The day will culminate in finalizing the work plans and identifying 3 joint activities with colleagues in other regions.

Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.

Putting the SPARK into Virtual Training.pptxCynthia Clay
This 60-minute webinar, sponsored by Adobe, was delivered for the Training Mag Network. It explored the five elements of SPARK: Storytelling, Purpose, Action, Relationships, and Kudos. Knowing how to tell a well-structured story is key to building long-term memory. Stating a clear purpose that doesn't take away from the discovery learning process is critical. Ensuring that people move from theory to practical application is imperative. Creating strong social learning is the key to commitment and engagement. Validating and affirming participants' comments is the way to create a positive learning environment.
Unveiling the Secrets How Does Generative AI Work.pdfSam H
At its core, generative artificial intelligence relies on the concept of generative models, which serve as engines that churn out entirely new data resembling their training data. It is like a sculptor who has studied so many forms found in nature and then uses this knowledge to create sculptures from his imagination that have never been seen before anywhere else. If taken to cyberspace, gans work almost the same way.
Preparing workplan (Eastern and Southern Africa) using World Cafe
1. Day 2 – Developing workplan
The objective of day 2 is to develop a comprehensive work plan.
The workplan should identify:
• 3 priority activities for each of the following grant
components:
o Capacity building
o Knowledge harvesting
o Policy dialogue
In doing so, you need to answer the following eight questions:
• What is the objective of the activity?
• Why is it important?
• Who is it for?
• How will it be done?
• What are the expected results?
• When will it start and what is the expected completion date?
• How will you monitor the impact and results of this activity?
• How will these activities link up with and/or use the
knowledge and experience of ESA thematic networks? (How
will the ESA thematic networks integrate with IFADAfrica?)
You also need to identify 3 activities to undertake jointly with the
your Western and Central Africa colleagues and Western and
Central Africa arm of the network
Plan for the day:
9:30-10:30 – Participants proposes 3 priority activities. The group
clusters the priorities under the three main programme objectives
and prioritizes the priorities
10:30-11:00 – coffee break
2. 11:00-12:30 – World Café – Participants form groups1
of 4, select
a group of activities and spend 30 minutes to answer to the above 8
questions. After the first 30 minutes, one person from the group
stays behind and hosts a session with different group of people. The
host explains what they did and asks the new group to add,
complement and challenge work done so far. This is done twice. The
purpose of this exercise is to validate and refine the work.
12:30-13:00 – Plenary session for ESA participants. Hosts present
their preliminary findings.
13:00-14:00 – Lunch
14:15-16:00 – Finalize the workplans and also identify the 3 joint
activities with the Western and Central Africa arm of the network
16:00-16:30 – Coffee break
16:30-17:30 – Plenary session for ESA participants to share
findings and prepare for tomorrow presentation to the full plenary
1
Criteria for group formation: Each group should have a good mix of different roles and
functions, different types of projects from different countries, gender balance and with a
member of other Eastern and Southern Africa thematic networks.
