Preparing Deviled Eggs in 10 Steps

Step 1

●   Bring a pot of water to a light bubble.
Step 2

●   Gently add six eggs to the water with a large
    spoon, being careful not to crack the eggs.
Step 3

●   3. Allow eggs to simmer for 10 minutes.
Step 4

●   Retrieve eggs with a large spoon and add to an
    ice bath to chill for 10 minutes.
Step 5

●   Take eggs out of ice bath, then crack and peel
    off eggshell and membrane. Rinse eggs to
    remove egg shell fragments.
Step 6

●   Slice eggs from top to bottom vertically with a
    knife and scoop out yolk, adding to a medium
    mixing bowl. Reserve egg whites.
Step 7
●   Add 3 parts mayonnaise, 1 part mustard, 1/2
    teaspoon paprika, 1/2 teaspoon of another desired
    spice or herb, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon
    black pepper to bowl with egg yolks.
Step 8
●   Mix until a smooth paste is formed, then scoop paste
    into a zip top bag and seal.
Step 9
●   Cut a small hole on the lower corner of the bag and
    pipe mixture into egg whites. Garnish with a spice
    or herb if desired.
Step 10
●   Serve and enjoy!
