23. Evaluation
my preliminary cosmos to create a magazine front cover and content page.
Firstly I have used the media such as Google and blog as my second degree research method. I have implied questionnaires on representative amount of samples to
gather the finding that I need. I have spent a lot of time on Internet to figure out the layout and masthead, since I did not really understand that clear. The images
featured in the magazine are all original and the requirements are completed such as medium close-up shots and mentioning professional vocabularies. The content is
revelant to school life and include enjoyable and educational activities.
I have used media language in my product creating the intended effect for the use of short types / angles is so target audience such as parents and teenagers can
connect with the image. The aim of magazine is for larger amount of audiences therefore I tried to use image,font, colors to attract audiences stop the font used is
contemporary and relevent to the meaning of the words and it makes the magazine more appealing to the readers the color scheme is a mixture of several different
colors in order to attract both genders and to catch audiences attention.
The aim of the magazine is to connect with audience call mom hoping to build a connection between readers, thus I used various mode of addresses. Most of the
texts are informal as the readers are mostly teenagers, I was trying to figure out what is the most efficient way to connect to teenagers efficiently call mom the
magazine includes analysis which demonstrates the function of each section in the magazine, I have improved on my vocabulary and my way of thinking through
analysis. Through questionnaires, I was struggling to communicate with people and ask them to do the questionnaire that I created, since most people I have
interviewed are strangers to me, but as I am interviewing them, their friendliness surprised me and I feel like that the questionnaire process have magically discovered
some connections for me and created new friendships postop
I have developed many skills through this task, such as using limited amount of resources and creating in depth measures . I tried to use AS level terminology. This is
my first year exposed to media studies since I did not have it in IGCSE, end up it has been the best subject have taken and I truly enjoy it. I am grateful to go through
the process and I have gained knowledge in field of media studies which I will cherish.
