2. Who did you work with and how did you manage the tasks between you?
Explain how you organised your time and schedules. What issues came up
with time management? What problems did you come up against? How did
you deal with these? What were your strengths and weaknesses in this area?
What would you do differently next time?
• I worked with Clarissa and Zara. Clarissa was working on the
camera’s but we all deposited our own input in the camera work.
Zara and Alex were the two fictional characters. We did not
experience any problems with time management we filmed our
Prelim task with 10 minutes extra to go therefore our efficiency paid
off allowing us to have time to reflect and alter anything that needed
to be. The only problems we came up against were the issues of
Camera Angles for each shot and also identifying the importance of
camera angles. Our strengths were the ability to work together and
make a masterpiece.
3. • While we were planning we took into account
the factors of lighting also while we were
shooting we had to also make sure that we got
the camera angles correct each time. During
editing we also had to make sure that we got
the cuts right to make for a smooth effect in
the Prelim task.
4. • Our sequence was fairly successful apart from the
minor apprehensions. The main things that worked
well was the instant chemistry between myself and
Zara in front of the camera, Also the ingenuity that
the group as a trio contributed was very effective to
the sequence it also made everything look better.
Next time the only thing we could do differently is let
the opinions have an effect on oneself as some
opinions were nor being taken on board.
5. • I have learnt that time is of the essence and every
nanosecond counts and time can not be regained but
I also learned that working with a team makes the
job much more efficient and the workload is split.
We Mutually agreed that Clarissa would be the
leader as she on camera, placing her in charge would
make for a smoother project. Also the overall
handling of the equipment was professional and well
mannered. Also the time we took to analyse our
footage between shot also aided the progress of the
shrort film.
6. • I learned that the editing process is not an easy one
and can only be done by those who are patient and
who also pay attention to little details. While editing
the group had to agree on one thing so we all
conformed to the most popular option allowing for a
smooth operation. Our strengths were getting the
scenes organised and also creating an amazing final
piece, the weaknesses can also be turned into
positives these are that we took our time to view
each clip but then again that made our final piece
much more precise.
