The average annual rainfall in Poland is about 600 mm, with the lowest rainfall in the Kujawskie Lake District and highest in southern Poland. Rainfall exceeds 1000 mm in the Sudetes and Carpathians mountains and reaches 1700 mm in the Tatras mountains, with most precipitation falling during summer months. In contrast, Tenerife receives little rainfall that falls rarely, though the northern part is cloudy, while the island overall is sunny and warm with rain, hail or snow being uncommon.
