This document discusses the characteristics of good research, including that it uses analytical procedures to gather descriptive, experimental, or case study data methodically without bias. Good research is also replicable, allowing researchers to arrive at valid conclusions. The document additionally lists three types of plagiarism: failing to cite quotations, failing to use quotation marks for borrowed language, and failing to put summaries and paraphrases in one's own words.
