∙ The Entire habitat we live in have immense biodiversity.
∙ Biodiversity is Immensely rich in wildlife and cultivated species ,
diverse in form and function but closely integrated in a system
through multiple network of interdependencies.
∙ Human along with all other form a complex web of ecological
system

∙ Represents all plant life ∙ Represents all animal life
∙Almost all members can make their
own food
∙ Have to acquire food from plants or
other animals
∙ Lacks mobility ∙ Members are mobile
∙ Has a cell wall ∙ Doesn’t have a cell wall
∙ Examples of flora include palm
trees, grass, sunflowers, etc.
∙ Fauna includes lions, tigers, bears,
cows etc.

6. FLORA
Plants are grouped into floras based on region,
period, special environment, or climate. Regions can
be distinct habitats like mountain vs. flatland. Floras
can mean plant life of a historic era as in fossil flora.
Lastly, floras may be subdivided by special
environments:
•Native flora. The native and indigenous flora of an
area.
•Agricultural and horticultural flora . The plants that
are deliberately grown by humans.
7. Flora Found In Haryana
Flora of Haryana is mostly dominated by dry, thorny,
deciduous forest and thorny shrubs. However grasses
cover the hills of Haryana during monsoon. Common
species of flora include Eucalyptus, Mulberry, Kikar, Pine,
Babul and Shisham.

The vegetation found in the state is largely of dry
deciduous type with a mixture of teak, and species of the
genera Terminalia, Pterocarpus, Angliss's etc .

10. FAUNA
Fauna is all of the animal life present in a particular region or
time. . Zoologist use fauna to refer to a typical collection of
animals found in a specific time or place, e.g. the “ Sonoran
Desert fauna" or the “Burgess
shale fauna". Paleontologists sometimes refer to a sequence
of Faunal Stage, which is a series of rocks all containing similar
fossils. The study of animals of a particular region is
called faunistic.

The species of fauna found in the state of Haryana include
black buck, nilgai, panther, fox, mongoose, jackal and wild

Telangana has a wise variety of flora and fauna in it and
some of the main animals that must be seen are Tiger,
Panther, Wolf, Wild Dog, Hyena, Sloth Bear, Gaur, Black
Buck, Chinkara, Chau Singha, Nilgai, Cheetal, Sambar.
