Turquoise:an opaque blue to green mineral
Chemical Name:Hydrous phosphate of copper and
aluminium
Chemical formula :CuAl6 (PO4)4(OH)8,4H2O
It is rare and valuable in finger grades has been prized
as a gem and ornamental stone for thousands of year
owing tonits unique

7. Specific gravity:lower(2.60-2.90)
Lusture of torquoise is typically waxy
Refractive index :1.61
Boiling point :1.800C
Colour:is variable as the mineral is other properties
ranging from white to a powder blue to skyblue

8. Solubility: soluble in all acids except heated
hydrochloric acids
Its streak is a pale bluish white and its fracture is
conchoidal
Despite its low hardness relative to other gems
