Jeremy and Shian graphed data from four sources: X-games attendance from 1994-2002 using a scatter plot; top artists' number of #1 hits on MTV using a bar graph; iTunes downloads of songs over time using a line graph; and comic book sales percentages using a pie chart. They chose these visualizations because scatter plots show trends easily, bar graphs clearly show amounts, line graphs track changes over time, and pie charts represent percentages.
