Kauro is the doer of the action. It is the subject of the sentence.

The telescope is the receiver of the verb peer.

8. When the subject is the doer of the action, the verb is said to
be in the active voice.
Subject + Verb + Direct Object = Active Voice

9. Did you see a shooting star last night? Did you
make a wish?

10. Here are some facts about shooting stars.
1. Shooting stars are not really stars, but masses of
rocks. They are called meteorites.

attracted by the force of gravity of the earth.
