The life of a parent consists of many challenging and rewarding experiences, especially when faced with a child that has a designation such as a learning disability or special need.  The following is a guide to assist parents and caregivers in creating an educational plan binder for your child.  This is a great tool as it consists of all up-to-date information and documents of your child’s needs and care. An IEP implements modifications in the classroom that assist a student in meeting their educational needs.If you are in the process of developing a Individual Education Plan, this resource will be of great assistance. The key to coping with these unexpected events is to plan. For a family with a child with special needs, it is imperative to put a plan in place. This booklet allows you to have all of your important information in one place.You may want to consider placing a copy of your plan in your binder.
