Edward Weston was one of the most innovative photographers of the 20th century known for his experimentation with modernism and viewing himself as an artist rather than just a photographer. His works spanned from about 1929 to 1948 and included portraits such as Tina Modotti from 1922 and still life photos like Pepper #30 from 1930.
