The deficiency of electricity generation in Libya is clearly manifested in the fact that demand on electricity still exceeds its supply as blackouts become more frequent. In peak demand time, blackouts and outages are the major phenomena in almost all the Libyan regions. Due to technical issues, illegal connections and throughout the lengthy civil war, the generation and transmission in addition to distribution functions suffered partial destruction and consequent outages. For all the mentioned problems, Renewable energy sources and technologies have potential to provide solutions to the long standing energy problems being faced by the Libyan electricity. Alternative renewable energy sources like solar energy technology can be an important part of Libyas plan not only to add new capacity but also to increase energy security, address environmental concerns, as well as to overcome energy shortage. Libya is very rich in solar energy resources and possesses large wasteland areas in the Sahara that represent 88 of the total area and much of this is relatively flat. Libya is one of the countries with the abundance of this type of energy, with a daily average of the sunshine reached to 8.1 kWh m2 day, and where annual solar activity more than 3500 kWh m2 year on the horizontal surface. Losses in the transmission and distribution system will be reduced since power is generated near loads. The grid availability and stability will increase and individuals can save money in their electricity bill and finally the generated power is clean and nonpolluting. This paper presents the main sources of alternative renewable energy in Libya and its potential besides the main reasons Libya is turning to alternative energy solutions to fully utilize its renewable energy resources, fulfill the energy demand in the future and to reduce the outages of electricity and carbon emissions. The study also found that, there is need to investigate more the potential of offshore wind, biomass, and hydro tide and wave thermal energy .The paper finishes with some conclusions and recommendations. According to my thinking, the United States of America should commit itself to the Paris agreement. It will enable the country to contribute the maximum to environmental conservation. The country should make efforts in committing itself to the Paris agreement as it has brought nations from the entire world into a common cause. Thus undertaking the needed ambitions for combating the climatic change and accordingly adapting the possible effects and challenges experienced by each country and coming up with solutions to help the developing countries to withstand the problems encountered.
The agreement will, therefore, chart a new course in the global climate efforts which will help in safeguarding the welfare of the people's health (Maslin, 2007). The United States of America should, again, commit itself to the agreement as its made to strengthen the global responses to the threats brought by adverse climatic changes by developing favorable global temperature rise in the century, for the world to experience a 2 degrees Celsius decrease in the industrialized areas. According to the Paris agreement, the countries, as a whole, should develop different efforts to ensure that the nations experience a 2 degrees Celsius temperature drop. The deal is significant in that it will strengthen countries’ abilities to deal with the results brought by climatic changes as it is realized that it is changing in every century.
The United States committing itself to the deal will again enable it to oversee more developments in the country as a specific financial flow should be witnessed, new technologies developed, and an enhanced capacity building framework brought into existence which will support the actions of the nation by promoting them invulnerable and reliable nations, thus meeting their set objectives (NSTC, 2008). The Paris deal has again provided enough transparency of the efforts by each state and developed a very clear framework for the nations to fight the effects of climate change within a set period.
According to my understanding, we can experience global warming as a result of continued air pollution and increased industrialization by many countries in the world. As the days go by, many industries are constructed and a mechanism is not put in place to protect the polluted air from entering the atmosphere. On the other hand, the Paris agreement has impacted my stand on global warming as it has enabled me to realize that different countries can come together thus developing mechanisms objectively to reduce the occurrence of global warming.

This paper presents the main sources of alternative renewable energy in Libya and its potential besides the main reasons Libya is turning to alternative energy solutions to fully utilize its renewable energy resources, fulfill the energy demand in the future and to reduce the outages of electricity and carbon emissions. The study also found that, there is need to investigate more the potential of offshore wind, biomass, and hydro tide and wave thermal energy .The paper finishes with some conclusions and recommendations. According to my thinking, the United States of America should commit itself to the Paris agreement. It will enable the country to contribute the maximum to environmental conservation. The country should make efforts in committing itself to the Paris agreement as it has brought nations from the entire world into a common cause. Thus undertaking the needed ambitions for combating the climatic change and accordingly adapting the possible effects and challenges experienced by each country and coming up with solutions to help the developing countries to withstand the problems encountered.
The agreement will, therefore, chart a new course in the global climate efforts which will help in safeguarding the welfare of the people's health (Maslin, 2007). The United States of America should, again, commit itself to the agreement as its made to strengthen the global responses to the threats brought by adverse climatic changes by developing favorable global temperature rise in the century, for the world to experience a 2 degrees Celsius decrease in the industrialized areas. According to the Paris agreement, the countries, as a whole, should develop different efforts to ensure that the nations experience a 2 degrees Celsius temperature drop. The deal is significant in that it will strengthen countries’ abilities to deal with the results brought by climatic changes as it is realized that it is changing in every century.
The United States committing itself to the deal will again enable it to oversee more developments in the country as a specific financial flow should be witnessed, new technologies developed, and an enhanced capacity building framework brought into existence which will support the actions of the nation by promoting them invulnerable and reliable nations, thus meeting their set objectives (NSTC, 2008). The Paris deal has again provided enough transparency of the efforts by each state and developed a very clear framework for the nations to fight the effects of climate change within a set period.
According to my understanding, we can experience global warming as a result of continued air pollution and increased industrialization by many countries in the world. As the days go by, many industries are constructed and a mechanism is not put in place to protect the polluted air from entering the atmosphere. On the other hand, the Paris agreement has impacted my stand on global warming as it has enabled me to realize that different countries can come together thus developing mechanisms objectively to reduce the occurrence of global warming.

Construction of the National Energy Policy
In the present day world, non-renewable energy has been heavily utilized as an ultimate source of energy both in for domestic and industrial use. Although the prospecting of energy has proven to be well-organized in the manufacturing of energy, the perpetual utilization of fossil fuels keeps posing a danger to the future generations as well as to the environment. The 2007 Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) research well indicated that the continuous emission of Green House Gas by the numerous industries across the globe have increased by a significant degree in the atmosphere. This trend has no doubt posed an imminent threat to the environment since the accumulation of hydro chlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) in the atmosphere has reached the alarming proportions as compared to the previous research, which was conducted way back in 1996 (Making National Energy Policy, 2017). It is for these worrying symptoms that there dire need for a national energy policy arises to orchestrate the manufacturing and utilization of renewable energy; solar, hydro, thermal as opposed to non-renewable sources of power; which entails oil, coal and natural gas.
How to construct this policy
The National Energy Policy will be concerned with the creating mechanisms to process or rather establish the sources of energy, which are essentially environmentally friendly and which would still be moderate on the gross domestic product (GDP). The best example is displayed by the government of the United Kingdom (UK), which recently proposed the adoption of Photovoltaic innovation to be converting solar energy into electric energy for domestic and industrial usage (Anger, Zannier & Centre for European Policy Studies (Brussels, Belgium), 2017). This initiative has proven to be brilliant idea, which most manufacturing industries in particular must embrace as solar energy is renewable and freely available at each person’s disposal. Above all, this form of energy is overly friendly with the environmental and is not associated with any health threats to the users.
There is every need therefore, for the government to select wind and solar power energy as sources of renewable energy. In the new National Energy Policy, the government is required to exhaustively deliberate upon the effects of perpetual utilization of the non-renewable energy, not just to the environment alone, but also to individual health. The government should work with speed to launch a policy mechanism through the Energy Saving Trust to begin effecting the proposed changes as soon as possible.
