This document discusses Howard Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences which identifies eight different types of intelligence: linguistic, logical-mathematical, musical, interpersonal, intrapersonal, naturalist, existential, and kinesthetic. It also discusses John Dewey's model of experiential learning which consists of four stages: preplan, plan, act and observe, and reflect. Finally, it outlines a proposed framework for lesson planning that incorporates both Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences and Dewey's model of experiential learning into a four stage process of preplan, plan, act and observe, and reflect.
