● For my main title text, I decided to use Times New Roman as it was
basic, sophisticated and tied in with the fact that it was set in a
school. The writing itself is ideal handwriting to a student and
teacher however I slightly distorted it with scratches to represent
how the students have made distortions to such perfect handwriting.
The text itself is a representation of the students. The villain is
    looking down on the text.
● I highlighted bits of importance on the tag line as if it somewhat of
a warning. 'Today' to represent that whatever is to happen, is to
happen right this instant and 'dead'line as it is of significance to
showing the poster is a horror poster. Also, I placed the tag line
above the names of the main characters of the trailer to make it feel
as if it was a school register. For example, 'Today is your deadline
    Oye Makinde' etc,
● I decided to completely
    desaturate the villains
    face as way of represen-
    ting that the villain is
    black and white, there
is good and bad side to
    the villain. This corresp-
    onds with the 'glow'
    coming from behind the
    villain. It represents that
there was once a good side to the villain however that side is now
behind him. There are also scratches over his face to represent signs
of a ruined man, who is worn out and is constantly reminded of his
    problem because of those scratches/scars.
● For the right side of his face, I decided to
darken it for a number of reasons. Firstly,
it was my intention from the beginning
to have a shadowy section on his face. I
chose the right side partly because of the
difficulty and result I had whilst cutting
out and also because the right side of
something is often associated with good.
It is why I have the shadow in the position
as if it is infecting him, like a disease.
● I added a light blood effect on the background to give a subtle feel
to the murderous aspect of the trailer. The background is a
chalkboard and so the fact that names
are present on the chalkboard and they
are also bloody allows for the viewer
    to immediately associate school with
    trouble.
