My short term goals include using Olds College resources to learn about brewing and improve recipe skills. My final short term goal is to build an industry support network. My long term goal is to open my own sustainable brewery and brewpub in Southern Alberta that invests in reducing water usage and emissions. My personal code of ethics is to address challenges with integrity, honesty, and positivity while ensuring safety and excellence in my work.

1. My short term goals include using the multitude of resources available at Olds College to learn as much
as possible about the brewing process. Another short term goal of mine is to work on my recipe
creation and modification skills so that I might leave here with a much better understanding of what
products will work in today's beer scene. My final short term goal is to build a support network of
other industry professionals that can be consulted for advice and assistance down the road.
My long term goal would be to open my own brewery and brewpub in Southern Alberta. Not only do I
hope to open an establishment, but I want to create something that is environmentally responsible and
sustainable in the long term. I want to invest in methods and practices that allow for water
consumption and reduction of emissions while producing an excellent product.
My personal code of ethics is to address challenges with integrity, honesty, a positive attitude, and to
provide excellence while maintaining a safe environment. I believe that in order to accomplish
anything the correct path must always be taken. Diligence must be applied when choosing methods
and corners must not be cut, even when efficiency is lost by doing so. It is of great importance to me to
always be truthful and honest when dealing with others and projects. A positive attitude should be
brought to every problem, negativity only slows things down. I strive for excellence in everything I do,
I am willing to go the extra mile to make sure that projects succeed and results are obtained. Finally, I
believe that everything that is completed should be done so in a safe manner. It is the responsibility of
myself and all those involved to look out for each other and ourselves and ensure that nothing is done
in a manner which does not guarantee the safety of all those involved.
