This document describes a proposal to add usable space to an existing home in Pacoima, CA through permitted and non-permitted additions. The permitted additions include expanding the existing house to the allowable setback, adding a garage expansion, and adding a second floor office/bedroom. The non-permitted addition involves converting an existing window to an entrance door to create a separate rentable unit within the expanded space. Renderings and plans show the proposed additions, renovations to increase storage and light, and creation of an independent living unit.
