SBT Designs provides residential and commercial remodeling and design services. The document describes three of SBT's remodeling projects - the Thuens' residence in Modesto Circle, the Williamson residence where an open floor plan was designed to aid a resident with Alzheimer's, and Mark Johnson's home in St. Paul where a space for wine and beer brewing and entertaining guests was created. The challenge of this remodel was the health issue of one
of the residents. The resident suffered from alzhiemers.
The design solution was to include an open space plan to
aid the resident in orientating his location with distinct
transitions in the material to define the spaces.

14. BIANCHI
The bike stop is located on Hiawatha in
Minneapolis, MN. I was given a site with
nothing on it. I was able to construct this
with an open mind.

Minneapolis, MN
This project is based out
of Minneapolis, MN. It is
the armory that is located
on 6th street in downtown.
I was able to take the
existing space, which was
the old armory, and
transform it into an art
gallery.

22. MARK JOHNSON
MARK JOHNSON’S
home in St. Paul was aSHERBURNE AVENUE

remodel. I was able to
create a space that suits
him along with his family
and friends. One of Mark’s
passions is brewing his own
wines and beers. He also
enjoys entertaining guests.
