This document summarizes the Department of Human Development and Education at the Organization of American States (OAS). It provides the vision, mission, history, reach, recognition, target audiences, products, and partners of the Department. The Department aims to leverage technology to create learning opportunities, promote collaboration, and generate solutions for education and development in the Americas through online courses, networks, and technical cooperation missions between institutions. It has trained over 30,000 participants across 34 OAS member states.

18. Mexico - Ecuador

• Programa Adopte un Talento A.C. (PAUTA)
• Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja (UTPL )
Objective: Share and transfer knowledge and strengthen teachers skills in
STEM education.
Results:
• Legal cooperation agreement between PAUTA and UTPL signed .
• 33 teachers and educational professionals trained.
• 30 match and science kits delivered to teachers.
• Practice sessions implemented with 200 students.

Objective: Strengthen institutional capacities for the development and
implementation of programs of education in STEM, through the exchange of
knowledge and horizontal cooperation.
Results:
• Access to experiences in the design and implementation of innovative practices.
• Information and non-financial resources shared to improve current and future
practices.
• More than 150 participants in the workshops.
