a system. Some of inputs are
seeds, fertilizers, machinery
and (labour through
ploughing sowing, irrigation
& harvesting we get the
outputs like crops, wool, diary
& poultry production.

Types of farming
Two types of framings are:-
(i) Subsistence Farming
(ii) Commercial Farming

Subsistence Type of farming
is practised to meet the
needs of the farmers family,
with the help of traditional
method, household labours
& produce very small
quantity of output for their
own consumption.
There are two types of
subsistence farming :
(i) Intensive Subsistence
Farming
(ii) Primitive Subsistence
Farming

Intensive Subsistence Farming:-
The Farmers Cultivates a small plot of land
using simple tools & more labour. Includes
large number of days with sunshine &
fertile soil permit one crop annually on the
same plot
Primitive Subsistence Farming:-
It includes Shifting cultivation & nomadic
harding . Shifting cultivation is practised in
the areas of heavy rainfall quick
regenerating lands. Nomadic Harding
includes movement from “Place to Place”
with there animals for fodder

Commercial Farming:-
This type of farming used for
commercial purposes- crops &
animals are share in this market.
Whereas the plantation crops
involves the single crop like- Tea,
Coffee, Sugar Cane, Cashew Nut,
Arcenut Etc.

Procedure for the farmers and all.
Near about 73% of the total
working force is engaged in this
activity.
