• रात 12 बजे के बाद से सुबह शुरू हो जाती है,
और दोपहर 12 बजे से पहले तक guest को
good morning wish करेंगे।
• दोपहर 12 बजे के बाद Good Afternoon wish
करेंगे और तक़रीबन शाम के 4 बजे, या ददन
ढलने तक good afternoon ही wish करेंगे।
• सूरज ढलने से लेकर रात के 12 बजे तक
Good Evening wish करेंगे।
• ये तीनों Guest से ममलने पर बोले जाते ह।।
3. Welcome to Hotel IHM, Hajipur!
• हमारे hotel में आपका स्वागत है।
• Guest जब hotel में पहली बार आए तो ये
बोलते ह।।

• कु छ भी करने, या कहने से पहले guest की
अनुमतत लेना आवश्यक है।

• जब गेस्ट की choice पूछनी हो तब . . . जैसे
चाय, कॉफी इत्यादद ।
10. Excuse me, Ma’am!
• Excuse me, Sir!
• माफ कीजजएगा।
• ककसी भी guest या senior को टोकने से पहले
ये कहना ज़रूरी है। अगर कोई guest या
senior कु छ बोल रहे हों तो बीच में न टोकना
ही सही होगा।
11. Pardon me, please!
• Beg your pardon!
• क्षमा करें।
• जब हम guest की कोई बात सुन, या समझ
नहीं पाते, तब ऐसे कहते ह।।
• कोमशश रहे की guest को कु छ भी दोहराना न
पड़े।

• जब गेस्ट ककसी बात पर हमें thank you बोले,
तो reply में हम ये कहते ह।।

• कृ पया आसन ग्रहण करें।
• जब guest को बैठने के मलए आग्रह करना हो
तब।
14. Thank you for choosing our hotel.
• हमारे hotel को चुनने के मलए धन्यवाद।
• यह गेस्ट के hotel में पहली बार आने या
hotel से जाने के समय आभार व्यक्त करने के
मलए कहा जाता है।
15. Sure, Sir!
• Sure, Ma’am!
• Definitely, Ma’am!
• Certainly, Ma’am!
• Positively, Sir!
• ज़रूर , या बबलकु ल कहने के मलए।
• जब गेस्ट हमसे कु छ करने के मलए कहे तो इस
प्रकार से बोल सकते ह।। जैसे, “क्या आप मुझे
बता सकते ह। की washroom कहाूँ है?”
• “Sure, Sir!”

• क्या म। आपका नाम जान सकता हूूँ, महोदय।
17. Please make yourself comfortable.
• कृ पया आराम से बैठें, या ये कहना हो कक
आराम से रहें।
18. Have a safe trip home!
• आपकी घर वापसी कक यात्रा सुरक्षक्षत हो।
• आप सुरक्षक्षत घर लौटें।
• Guest के hotel छोडते समय ये कहा जाता है।
19. May I ask…?
• क्या म। ये आपसे पूछ सकता हूूँ?
• क्या म। आपसे ये मांग सकता हूूँ?
• May I ask you for your identity proof?
• May I ask your room number ?
20. How was your stay?
• आपका अनुभव कै सा रहा?
• आपको हमारे hotel में रहने में कै सा लगा।
• जब guest hotel से जा रहा होता है (Check-
Out के time पर), तब bill payment से पहले ये
पूछते ह।।
21. Good night.
• शुभ राबत्र !
• शाम के समय जब ककसी से ववदा लेते ह। तो
इस प्रकार wish करते ह।।
• Good night , शाम 4-5 बजे से लेकर अगले
ददन सूरज उगने के पहले तक इस्तेमाल करते
ह।।
• ददन के समय ववदा लेते वक़्त “Good day”
कहते ह।।
• Have a nice day भी इसी का एक रूप है।
22. Is there anything else I can do for
you, today?
• Is there anything else I can do for you, now?
• क्या म। आपकी ककसी अन्य प्रकार से सहायता
कर सकता हूूँ?
• जब guest का हम एक काम कर देते ह। तो
उसके बाद पूछते ह।।
23. I apologize for the inconvenience to
you.
• आपको हुई असुववधा के मलए क्षमा चाहता हूूँ।
• “I apologize” कहना “I am sorry” कहने से
ज़्यादा प्रभावशाली होगा।
24. Good bye
• अलववदा।
• आखरी बार जब ककसी से ववदा लेते ह। तो ऐसा
कहते ह।। Check- Out के time पर ये इस्तेमाल
करेंगे।
25. I regret to inform you that…
• . . . your baagage has still not been sent by
the airline company.
• मुझे आपको सूचचत करते हुए खेद है, कक
airlines company ने अब तक आपका सामान
नहीं भेजा है।
• कोई भी अफ़सोसनाक बात कहने से पहले ये
कहते ह।।

• जब हम guest के मलए कु छ करने जा रहे हों,
तो उससे पहले आज्ञा लेते ह।।
• जैसे guest के मलए दरवाज़ा खोलना, कु सी
खींचना, ग्लास मे पानी डालना, cigarette के
मलए lighter जलाना, आदद।

• म। इस बारे में आपको कु छ ही देर में phone
करता हूूँ।
• जब guest के ककसी request या complaint को
हम तुरत solve न कर पाये, तो इस प्रकार से
कु छ समय मांगते ह।।
• “May I call you back, in 10 minutes, please ?”

• क्या म। अभी आपकी कु छ और सेवा कर
सकता हूूँ?
• ककसी काम को करने के बाद, ऐसे guest से
पूछेंगे।

• क्या म। ज़रा check कर लूूँ, इसे?
• मुझे कु छ समय दें, पता करने के मलए?

• क्या म। आपकी call को कु छ देर hold पर रख
सकता हूूँ?
• जब हमें लगता है कक सही response देने में
अभी वक़्त लगेगा, तो guest को phone hold
करने के मलए इस प्रकार से तनवेदन करते ह।.
35. We hope to see you again soon!
• हम उम्मीद करते ह। कक आप दोबारा हमारे
hotel जल्दी ही आएंगे!
• जाते वक़्त ऐसा बोलते ह।।
36. If you don’t mind, may I call you
back in some time?
• अगर आप बुरा न माने तो म। आपको थोड़ी देर
में दोबारा phone कर सकता हूूँ?
• हम बबना guest कक अनुमतत के , फोन काट
नहीं सकते!
37. Thank you for staying on the line.
• Thank you for being on the line.
• Thank you for holding the line.
• Thank you for waiting.
• लाइन पे बने रहने के मलए धन्यवाद।
• Guest जब line hold करता है, तब हम दोबारा
बात शुरू करने से पहले ऐसे बोलते ह।।

• धन्यवाद।
• शुकिया।
• जब guest payment करे, या staff को कोई tip
या उपहार दे, तो ये कहेंगे।
• बहुत मंहगे उपहार स्वीकार न करें, और
management को तुरंत सूचचत करे। ये fraud
का मामला हो सकता है।
39. Could you spell that, please?
• Could you spell that for me, please?
• क्या आप कृ पया अपने नाम कक spelling
बताएूँगे?
• जब guest के नाम कक सही spelling, हम सुन
कर guess न कर पाएूँ, तो इस प्रकार से
पूछेंगे।
40. I’ll be with you in just a moment.
• Give me just one moment, please!
• म। आप के पास जल्दी होऊं गा।
• कतार में प्रतीक्षा कर रहे गेस्ट को इस प्रकार
से कहेंगे, ताकक उसे neglected feel न हो।
49. Guest Handling Skills
• While interacting with the guest, associates
will maintain eye contact (नज़र मिला कर
बात करेंगे); have a pleasant expression and
a smile on their face (चेहरे पर मुस्कु राहट
और दशवनीय अमभव्यजक्त होगी). Associates
will speak clearly (स्पष्ट बोलेंगे) and use
the guest’s surname (prefixed with
appropriate English salutation, such as
Mister, Missus, and Miss etc) in a natural
manner (उपनाम के साथ ममस्टर, ममस्सस
या ममस लगा कर पुकारेंगे). नाम तीन बार
से ज़्यादा नहीं लेंगे।
50. Guest Handling Skills
• Guests will never be told, “No”, but will be
offered alternative solutions. कभी भी गेस्ट
को ककसी request के मलए न नहीं कहेंगे।
• Associates will escort the guest at all times
rather than simply give directions. Guest को
रास्ता बताने से बेहतर है ख़ुद साथ जा कर
छोड़ आना।
