4. Speaker - The character who speaks, or narrates, a poem.
Diction - The choice and use of words and phrases in speech or
writing.
Refrain - to repeat something very many times
Tone - The tone can be a harsh one or a soft one or a melancholy
one etc.
Denotation -it is the direct meaning or appearance of an object or
person.
Stanza-In poetry, a stanza is a unit within a larger poem
Metaphor - A figure of speech in which a word or phrase is applied
to an object or action to which it is not literally applicable.
Alliteration-The occurrence of the same letter or sound at the
beginning of adjacent or closely connected words.
Simile - A figure of speech involving the comparison of one thing
with another thing of a different kind.
Personification - The attribution of a personal nature or human
characteristics to something nonhuman, or the representation of an
abstract quality
Onomatopoeia - The formation of a word from a sound associated
with what is named
