My Poetry Anthology
What is Poetry? Poetry is a river, poem after poem moves along in the exciting crests and falls of the the river waves. None is timeless; each arrives in an historical context, almost everything, in the end, passes. Mary Oliver (A Poetry Handbook)
What is Poetry? My Definition! Poetry is a way to express your feelings about a topic. It is a way for people to say how you feel about a topic. It is like a river of emotion. Nicola

My Free Verse #1 People streaking `round the world People zipping here and there, People gliding to and fro People flying all `round town Wait a minute, fast forwards on!
My Free Verse #2 As four walls make a room the pilgrims appear through their map The unreal flourishes beyond imperious themes and borders closed to laughing And landscapes hold no proof if intention is a sin then dreams are guilty too A blameless geography then,   blameless houses, blameless men, a mistaken faith in color and light Neutrality is to blame for wanting us to agree with its bland gestures So much emptiness to fill until we declare, quite innocently, “There was a city on a river.”
Collected Free Verse #1 Mirror, Mirror My game face is blue. I must put it back on, see How much of my glory was real And how much fever. I see drawn eyes, too much marring, A suit of swan feathers Without the matching shape. And however I imagine lights, No straw spins to gold. I see as I have been seen, Not radiant, but ashine in hope Yet to see a finish.
Collected Free Verse #2 The Rose Disneyland holds all the answers But now you would go skiing With snow-blue eyes for company. My fingers on splinter-blunt thorns Feel wrong, as if the pressure of Bending a wire could spiral the stem, Unnatural, twisted and shattered. The tips of cream-silk petals bleed. This is what happened to me, then, Being there at the wrong confluence of time, There and shining with no one looking. I grew my own thorns, climbed into a vial, And the blush bleeds from the petals of my skin.

My Selected Poet! Kenn Nesbitt is my favorite poet.
About My Poet! Who I Am He is 46 years old and was born on February 20, 1962 in Berkeley, California. He grew up in Fresno and San Diego, California. He now live in a big old house in Spokane, Washington, with his wife Ann, son Max and daughter Madison. He has a dog (a black pug named Jesse), two cats named Raki and Sambuca, and a rabbit named Lola.
Extra Poems that I’ve Collected! Katie kissed me! Yuck, it's true! My face took on a greenish hue. My knees, like jelly, started shaking. Then my stomach started quaking. Slobber slithered down my cheek. My consciousness was growing weak. My ears were ringing, head was spinning. But all the while Kate was grinning. My heart was pounding through my shirt. My tongue felt like I just ate dirt. Though you may think I've lost my brain, I wish she'd kiss me once again!
