Neemrana in Alwar district located off NH 8 is gaining ground

Jaipur: Rajasthan’s first cargo airport and bullet train would debut in Alwar. The airport would come up in Neemrana
on the Jaipur - Delhi highway. The high - speed train would be a shuttle service that would run between Delhi
and Alwar at speed ranging between 160 and 180km per hour. Both projects have been lined up as part of an
aerotropolis - a modern city modelled around airports to promote aviation intensive business - to facilitate exports
and shipments along the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor passing through the state.

JAIPUR: Rajasthan has formally become part of the
National Capital Region Transport Corporation
(NCRTC) with the Union finance department
approving an additional budget provision of Rs
12.5 crore for construction of a high-speed corridor
between Alwar and Delhi on September 10.
The corporation is a separate body set up by the
national capital region planning board (NCRPB) for
speedy connectivity between the national capital
and its satellites towns including Alwar. Four states -
Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Delhi - are the
stake holders in the project which has been started
with an initial funding of Rs 100 crore. Each state has
contributed 12.5 % while Railways has invested Rs 50
crore.
DMIC
Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor is a mega infra-structure project of USD 90 billion with the financial & technical
aids from Japan, covering an overall length of 1483 KMs between the political capital and the business capital of
India, i.e. Delhi and Mumbai. Also, The important industrial area of Rajasthan - Neemrana, which is at the confluence
of Delhi-Haryana and Rajasthan is being connected to the Railway network via the Delhi-Mumbai freight corridor.

2. Korean Zone
• An MOU to formalize an agreement to set up the zone was signed between The Rajasthan State Industrial
Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) and South Korean Trade Promotion Agency (Kotra) on
March 11, 2013.
• The exclusive Korean Zone covering Approximately 250 Acres is being set up at Ghilhot in Neemrana, which is a
fast developing industrial area in the NCR.
• Many South Korean Companies especially the automobile parts and electronic components manufacturers, have
shown there interest to set up production units in Neemrana, because in future Neemrana will become the
