This project integrated various technologies, hardware, software, and online resources to create content. The respondent used several softwares and hardware to complete tasks like the film opening and preliminary film logos. They gained new skills from programs like video editing software. Online sharing of their work through websites allowed them to reach their target audience and share their work more broadly.
The lighting for our movie
Low key lighting will be used for the abandoned house basement scene to create shadows and a dim hue using lights placed at eye level or lower. This lighting technique is suited for horror and will require adjusting lights for each actor placement. High key lighting using multiple bright lights placed high above will be used for the school scene to allow for easy continuous shooting, as is commonly used in comedies and sitcoms. The street scene will use available natural light just before dark.

Online sharing of their work through websites allowed them to reach their target audience and share their work more broadly.
The lighting for our movie
Low key lighting will be used for the abandoned house basement scene to create shadows and a dim hue using lights placed at eye level or lower. This lighting technique is suited for horror and will require adjusting lights for each actor placement. High key lighting using multiple bright lights placed high above will be used for the school scene to allow for easy continuous shooting, as is commonly used in comedies and sitcoms. The street scene will use available natural light just before dark.

Sounds

Mise en scene
Mise-en-scene refers to everything visible within the frame of a film and helps communicate essential information to the audience. It has 5 elements: settings/props, costumes/makeup, facial expressions/body language, lighting/color, and character positioning. These elements establish the time, place, and relationships while providing clues to a character's personality and mental state through visual cues. Mise-en-scene manipulates audience expectations and adds meaning, drama, and mood through intentional creative choices.
