The story is about a clever jackal who lives in a cave. An old lion can no longer hunt fast enough to catch prey and is hungry. He sees the jackal's cave and waits inside, planning to ambush the jackal. However, when the jackal returns, he tricks the lion into thinking the cave is talking, causing the lion to leave empty-handed. The jackal then safely returns to his cave for the night.

1. STORY The lion and the talking den Once upon a time a clever jackal made his home in a cave in the jungle. Everyday he would leave the cave sunrise in search of Food and return at sunset

2. In the same jungle there lived a lion. He had grown very old and could no longer run fast to catch his prey. He often went hungry because of this. One day the lion tried to catch a lame deer. But even the lame deer could run faster than him.
