This document provides information about PLNU's study abroad program in South Africa for the spring 2013 semester. It outlines the university's core values including excellence in teaching, an intentionally Christian community, and a global perspective. The program will partner with the Center for Justice and Reconciliation and include coursework, visits to historical and cultural sites, and interactions with local communities and organizations to learn about South Africa's history, current issues, and efforts towards reconciliation. Students will spend time in Johannesburg and Cape Town, using the cities and their residents as classrooms.
