2. The first teachings in preschool are the basics
that a child needs to know before he/she learns
the "other basics" of reading, writing, and math.
Understanding a color and a shape is a tool for
learning many skills in all curriculum areas, from
math and science to language and reading.
For example, when your child learns to discern
the similarities and differences between colors
and shapes, he/she is using the same skills he/she
needs to recognize the differences between
letters and numerals.

Kindergarten students require a
great deal of learning support to
integrate information into their
body of knowledge. This Concept
uses hands-on, repetition, and
singing to support the learning
process to ‘Preserve Water’.

4. Significance
Blue represents trust, loyalty, sincerity, wisdom,
confidence, stability, faith, heaven, and intelligence.
The color BLUE has positive affects on the mind and the
body. Blue helps to slow human metabolism, is cooling in
nature, and helps with balance and self- expression.
Blue can be strong and steadfast or light and friendly.
Water is one of the most important substances on earth.
All plants and animals need water to survive. If there was
no water there would be no life on earth. Apart from
drinking, people have many other uses for water.
Water is essential for animals, birds, plants and all living
beings. We need to preserve water to meet our current
and future demand. Global water resources are
threatened by rising demands from many quarters.
Climate change is also expected to contribute to
droughts.
We, at Iris, integrated it with ‘Preserve Water’.

 Children learned about blue sky and blue
things that are seen in the surroundings.
About the importance of water and how to
preserve water in our day-to-day life.
 Children were taught about the use of color
and teachers helped in understanding the
usage color in many forms.
 Children are given the opportunity to explore
and experiment with color using a variety of
materials, including paper, color pencils,
crayons and paint.
