radiation for evaporating the absorbed water
• Their energy use is characteristic and it is approximately
proportional to their transpiration

• Example: Let’s assume that the grower uses 8l/m² substrate
while keeping a usual 13% difference in water capacity.
• There has already been a 5,44% decrease so we can calculate
with a further 7,56% decrease until sunrise.
• In this case the irrigated water per square metre was 2,3
ml/J/cm².
8l X 7,56% = 0,60 l x 225,7 J = 135,42 J
That is: 907,59 J – 135,42 = 772,17 J
