• November 2nd – 3rd: IT copies Planner data to Plans
• November 6th – 17th: Advisors compare data in Planner and Plans
• November 20th & 21st: IT resolves issues discovered after advisor testing
• November 27th – December 1st: Advisors complete a final testing
• December 4th: Plans goes live and Planner is removed

View Practice
• Type in a student ID number: A04757918 Rachel Brown, Exploratory Student
• Click on Plans
• Select the Plan titled "TEST" (for Training to take Place 2017 1017)
• Open in Edit View
• Open in Audit View
• Open in Notes View
• Open in Calendar View
12. 3. Creating a Blank Plan
1. From the worksheets tab, click on “Plans.”
2. In the top, right-hand corner, click “New Plan.”
3. Click “Blank Plan.”
4. Give your Plan a name using the guidelines that your center follows.
5. Click “Active” if you want this plan to show up as the first the student views.
6. Now you are able to switch between views, open a pop-up audit and modify
your plan as needed.

Creating a Plan Practice
Blank Plan Practice
• Enter an ID for a student that you would normally advise
• Select Plans
• Select Create New Plan
• Select Blank Plan
• Give your plan a title in line with your center's best practices to include "Test"
• Make the Plan Active and Locked
• Add Spring 2018 as a term
• Save the Plan
• Click View Plan List

Drag & Drop a Course using Still Needed
• Select the plan that you created
• If not already extended, please extend the Still Needed bar
• Drag and drop several courses
• Save the Plan

• Select course requirement
• Enter a course prefix and number
• Select a minimum grade
• Save the Plan
Add Choice Requirement
• Select choice requirement
• Enter a course prefix and number
• Add an attribute if needed
• Enter a second Course Prefix and Number
• Click done
• Save the Plan

This is a hybrid course and meets both online and on campus
• Add the following Term Note (Bullet Point Information)
Student needs to:
• Complete the advising form
• Register for 12 hours
• Apply for graduation
