2.  I thought about creating a magazine
front cover for my final piece but then
decided on creating a film and
therefore now I am going to work on the
opening trailer of a new film coming out.
 My genre is going to be a thriller/horror.

3. I am going to be working with Tom Jolliffe on my
production as we both decided on doing the same sort of
trailer when discussing our ideas. So far our rough
narrative/story is about 5 teenagers, 3 girls and 2 boys, that
go on a camping trip to a field. The ‘odd girl out’ one
evening walks out of her tent after hearing repetitive noises
and seeing shadows previous nights before. She tries to tell
her friends what is going on and what she thinks is
happening but as usual they don’t listen and think she’s
‘going mad’. She then gets kidnapped by this ‘thing’ (the
audience never see what or who it is) and disappears (me
and Tom thought we could use some good effects and
make it look like she’s getting dragged through the field
into the woods, and that would be end, left on a cliff
hanger.

5.  We thought we should have the title in an usual
creepy font to show it’s a horror film. Examples of the

6.  We are going to have 5 characters in our
production but one main character who
the story is focused on and around.
 The main character is going to the ‘odd girl
out’ as the 4 other characters (2 girls and 2
boys) will be couples. This character will be
played by Sophie Hudson.
 We haven’t got any of the other 4
characters/actors sorted yet as we haven’t
got round to asking people who we want
and if they would want to be in it.

7.  Me and Tom decided as our whole
production is going to be based on and
practically the characters going on a
camping trip, we decided and using my
audience survey results most people said
the best place to have a horror
movie/trailer would be a field, so we went
ahead with this plan and decided we are
going to use the field behind my house in
Keynsham to film.

8.  Simple, modern everyday clothes. For example
the girls could wear jeans, leggings or shorts
with a top. The boys could wear a top and
jeans. The main girl would be changed when
she gets dragged through the fields and
kidnapped towards the end by making her
clothes dirty (mud and blood stains on them).
 The props we would use would be a tent,
sleeping bags, chars, torch, knife, bags –
camping things overall.

9. 5 teenagers (3 girls and 2 Playing games, telling Next morning- main girl Evening- hears strange
boys) are arriving in a field stories, laughing and character see’s noises, heavy breathing
unpacking all their having a fun time and something/someone in the and shadows near her
camping things enjoying themselves before distance running in tent, tells her friends, they
getting into their sleeping between the trees in the say it’s nothing and to

bushes until she thinks ‘it’ into the woods leaving the
