 Brief History
 Purpose: “Digital Drawing Set”
 Advantages: Slip Sheeting/Versions, Speed, Portability
 Disadvantages: Permissions
 Created Primarily for Tablet Use
 User Friendly Interface
 Fast Rendering & Uploads/Downloads
 Relatively Inexpensive
 Great Customer Service
Cost
 Sheets add up just like a normal set of plans
 Users currently only pay if using on a Tablet
Terms to Know
 Sheet: 1 Page of a drawing set
 Version: Set of drawings released at one time
 Tag: Identifier used to quickly find sheets
 Local Annotation: Notes only seen by you
 Master Annotation: Notes seen by everyone
 Collaborator: User with limited access
 Administrator: User with unlimited access

Collaborator vs. Administrator
 Can assign punch items
 Can change punch item’s status to “Pending” or “In Review” (IF the

 Can remove themselves from projects
 Cannot archive and permanently delete master punch items
 Cannot attach documents
 Cannot upload drawings
 Cannot delete sheets
 Cannot delete projects
 Cannot push annotations to master

field staff a heads up. Change status to “pending”
and assign to Project Engineer

Write the official RFI. Designer approves it and
Project Engineer sends to the subs as official change.
Changes status to closed, assigns to Field Staff, and
references RFI # in desc.

Punch List Status
 Open: Problem has been seen, signified by a solid
circle
 In Review: Problem has been seen by assignee,
signified by a dotted circle
 Pending: Problem has been solved by assignee,
signified by dotted circle with slash through the
center
 Closed: Original creator has seen the solved problem
and decides that it has been corrected, signified by a
solid circle with a solid slash through the circle
Turnover Benefits
 Owner can use the existing project on PlanGrid
 As-built folders
 Zipped and Customizable
 Zipped files
