A group of 15 developers and experts held a Code Camp in 2012 at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen to develop a web platform called plan4business. They combined user requirements with engines for integration, storage, and analysis of pan-European spatial datasets. This will soon be demonstrated in a pilot application enabling spatial analysis. Plan4business is an EU-funded project running from 2012 to 2014 that aims to offer harmonized planning data and analyses for users in an INSPIRE-compliant and open standard platform.

EuroHPC is a joint collaboration between European countries and the European Union about developing and supporting exascale supercomputing by 2022/2023. The EuroHPC declaration, signed on March 23 2017 signed by 7 countries marked the beginning of EuroHPC. Meanwhile there are 21 countries that have joined EuroHPC. However it is not certain yet whether Cyprus will sign the EuroHPC JU from the start (News from 2018-05-01). Latvia was the 21nd country to commit to joining EuroHPC. Estonia was the 21nd to sign the declaration and the 22nd to commit."

FP7-ICT Programme
The FP7 ICT Programme provides funding for information and communication technology research projects. Eligible participants include research institutions, universities, SMEs and companies from EU member states, associated countries, and some third countries. There are different funding schemes for collaborative projects, targeted research projects, integrated projects, and coordination/support actions. To apply, participants form consortia and submit proposals in response to open calls, with proposals evaluated based on criteria like scientific and technological objectives. Support is available to help find partners and submit successful proposals.

The SDI4Apps project meeting was successfully held in Jelgava, Latvia from September 17-18. Representatives from the 18 organizations involved in the SDI4Apps project met to review project progress and coordinate next steps. They also attended the International Conference on Information Systems for Agriculture and Forestry, where SDI4Apps co-organized an open data hackathon. The meeting focused on community building activities and pilot applications being developed in areas like data access, tourism, and ecosystem services evaluation. Technical issues regarding the platform architecture were also discussed.

EuroHPC is a joint collaboration between European countries and the European Union about developing and supporting exascale supercomputing by 2022/2023. The EuroHPC declaration, signed on March 23 2017 signed by 7 countries marked the beginning of EuroHPC. Meanwhile there are 21 countries that have joined EuroHPC. However it is not certain yet whether Cyprus will sign the EuroHPC JU from the start (News from 2018-05-01). Latvia was the 21nd country to commit to joining EuroHPC. Estonia was the 21nd to sign the declaration and the 22nd to commit."

This document describes a project to implement a common data model for electronic age classification labels across different systems and technical contexts in Europe. The project runs from 2014 to 2016 with a budget of 1.36 million euros that is 50% funded by the European Union. The data model is designed to be technology neutral, open, and consider existing classification approaches.
FP7-ICT Programme
The FP7 ICT Programme provides funding for information and communication technology research projects. Eligible participants include research institutions, universities, SMEs and companies from EU member states, associated countries, and some third countries. There are different funding schemes for collaborative projects, targeted research projects, integrated projects, and coordination/support actions. To apply, participants form consortia and submit proposals in response to open calls, with proposals evaluated based on criteria like scientific and technological objectives. Support is available to help find partners and submit successful proposals.

The SDI4Apps project meeting was successfully held in Jelgava, Latvia from September 17-18. Representatives from the 18 organizations involved in the SDI4Apps project met to review project progress and coordinate next steps. They also attended the International Conference on Information Systems for Agriculture and Forestry, where SDI4Apps co-organized an open data hackathon. The meeting focused on community building activities and pilot applications being developed in areas like data access, tourism, and ecosystem services evaluation. Technical issues regarding the platform architecture were also discussed.

Dear stakeholders, dear colleagues,
The fifth partners meeting for the project Erasmus+ InTheLoop4VET was organized by EVBB and held online on 3rd November 2021.
Partners from Germany, Greece, Lithuania, Spain and Sweden were present at the meeting. PROMEA, our partner from Greece, presented the Digital Tool that is under development. The feedback of the consortium about it was very positive and are eager to test it and possibly bring some improvements in order to make sure that it is fully functional. The Digital Tool is planned to be ready in all six languages by mid-December 2021.
The new project website was then introduced by our German partner EVBB. "intheloop4vet.eu" should be ready by the end of November.
IO2 and IO3 have been completed and the partnership is now working on IO4. You will be able to find final deliverables in all partnership languages very soon on project's website.
’Last but not least, we are going to organise five multiplier events within January 2022.
Arcadia project overview
This project received EU funding to develop a framework for highly distributed applications over programmable infrastructure. It has 9 partners across 7 countries working over 3 years with 6 work packages and 19 deliverables. The objectives are to develop a flexible framework, context model, and reference architecture to facilitate design and deployment of distributed applications. Three use cases will demonstrate the framework in different domains: optimizing energy efficiency vs quality of service in software routing; high performance survivable communications for IoT; and security/privacy support for the FI-WARE platform. The project is coordinated by Insight Centre for Data Analytics and technical coordination is led by Ubitech.
City SDK - Marja Mattila
CitySDK is a development toolkit for city services that aims to improve citizen participation, mobility, and tourism through open data and APIs. It has run pilot projects in areas like issue reporting and event information. Benefits include diverse services, flexibility, and boosting interoperability through an international developer community. The program is coordinated by Forum Virium Helsinki and involves partners from multiple countries working on replicating the pilots. Code4Europe aims to strengthen open innovation culture in public organizations by engaging developers in projects like tagging museum images and developing a public transit navigator app.

The FOODIE Project aims to create an open data platform for the agriculture sector. It will integrate spatial and non-spatial data from various sources to provide applications and services supporting decision making. The platform will allow public and private stakeholders to publish and link their own datasets. The project seeks to make better use of existing spatial data resources and provide interoperability between heterogeneous agricultural data sources.

The CloudTeams project received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 644617. The project involves 6 partners and aims to develop a collaborative platform to improve software development by better linking developers and end users. The goal is to deliver better software solutions through continuous testing with trusted users in a privacy-respecting way.
Applying Linked Open Data to Public Procurement
This document summarizes the experiences of the LOD2 project in applying linked open data to public procurement. The LOD2 project developed tools like Strigil and ODCleanStore to extract, clean, and link procurement data. A mockup public contracts filing application was created to publish and matchmake procurement data. Visualizations were also created, like a heat map of Czech public spending and a network graph of German procurement flows. Challenges included unclear licensing, improving machine readability and entity reconciliation across countries. Next steps could involve working with the European Commission's Open Data Portal to further develop the vision of a distributed marketplace for public contracts.

Plan4business Final Event in Dublin by ISOCARP
The final conference of the plan4business project took place in Dublin, Ireland and discussed the achievements of the project including its business solutions and the "whatstheplan.eu" platform. - 1. Code Camp 2012 PRESS RELEASE 23 July 2012 The plan4business development began with an intensive week, when coding, brainstorming and testing were the main priorities. The Code Camp 2012 was organised by the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. A group of 15 project developers and experts combined the user requirements with the development of the integration, storage and analysis engines that serve as a basis for the plan4business platform. The outcomes from the Code Camp 2012 will soon be presented through a pilot application enabling spatial analysis on pan European datasets. The plan4business project is an EU funded project under the Information and Communication Technologies Programme. The project aims to develop a web platform that will offer a full catalogue of harmonised planning data, including a range of analyses that can be performed.
