In her introductory address, Dr. Gemma Irvine discussed the need to build upon the research system that has developed over the last 20 years and establish a better evidence base to showcase Ireland's strengths in research. She emphasized that every euro spent on research is an investment in Ireland's future. She then outlined some of the key issues to be addressed regarding pay-to-publish and open access models, new publishing deals, and bibliometric analysis tools, before thanking the audience.

FAIR Data: principles and practices
A growing worldwide movement for reproducible research encourages making data, along with the experimental details, available according to the FAIR principles of Findability, Accessibility, Interoperability and Reusability (see http://www.nature.com/articles/sdata201618). Several data management, sharing policies and plans have emerged and, in parallel, a growing number of community-based groups are developing hundreds of standards to harmonize the reporting of different experiments. Community mobilization is evident also by the number of efforts and alliances, but also data journals and data centres being launched.
NISO Open Discovery Initiative
The Open Discovery Initiative (ODI) aims to standardize the process by which content providers participate in library discovery services. Its goals are to increase transparency, help streamline agreements between content providers and discovery services, and define models for fair linking. The ODI Standing Committee, composed of libraries, publishers, and service providers, works to promote adoption of its recommended practices, which define data exchange formats and usage reporting. Participating is meant to increase content discoverability and usage while improving customer satisfaction for all stakeholders. Current priorities include increasing content provider participation and analyzing needed usage statistics.

cosmological structure formation. The most obvious use of this formalism is to "fuzzy" dark matter,
i.e. dark matter consisting of extremely light particles whose e ective de Broglie wavelength is
suciently large to be astrophysically relevant, but it can be used to model more general scenarios
and has a number of advantages over standard methods based on Eulerian perturbation theory. I
illustrate the formalism with some calculations for cosmic voids and discuss its application to the
cosmological reconstruction problem(s).

The Eddington Eclipse Expeditions in 1919 provided early evidence supporting Einstein's theory of general relativity by measuring the bending of starlight near the sun during a solar eclipse. Two expeditions were sent to Principe and Sobral to photograph the Hyades star cluster near the sun during totality. Their results found star positions consistent with Einstein's prediction of nearly 2 seconds of arc bending, providing the first strong evidence for general relativity and making Einstein famous worldwide. Some controversy existed over the measurement precision, but later studies supported Einstein's theory.

This document provides an overview of wound healing, its functions, stages, mechanisms, factors affecting it, and complications.
A wound is a break in the integrity of the skin or tissues, which may be associated with disruption of the structure and function.
Healing is the body’s response to injury in an attempt to restore normal structure and functions.
Healing can occur in two ways: Regeneration and Repair
There are 4 phases of wound healing: hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling. This document also describes the mechanism of wound healing. Factors that affect healing include infection, uncontrolled diabetes, poor nutrition, age, anemia, the presence of foreign bodies, etc.
Complications of wound healing like infection, hyperpigmentation of scar, contractures, and keloid formation.
